Interesting article and photos of the ever evolving Steyr. Sydney was constantly modifying the Steytr in the quest for more speed (often via more traction). I’m not sure if the story is correct in that the block was Ford based…it sure looks a lot like the Steyr engine! From the June 1954 issue of Hot Rod Magazine.
